Partner Requirements

We work with organisations that have the experience, financial strength and operational capacity to represent IPToilet® professionally in their region. Our partners are typically contractors, facility management companies, sanitation infrastructure firms or engineering enterprises with an established presence in their market.

Experience in the WASH Sector Highly Preferred

Previous experience in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) projects — particularly in public sanitation infrastructure — is highly preferred. Partners who understand the operational realities of managing public toilet facilities are better positioned to serve clients and maintain units reliably.

Sound Financial Background

Partners are required to purchase IPToilet® units with 100% advance payment. Sound financial capacity is therefore a prerequisite. We sign an MOU and Partner Agreement before any transaction takes place.

Government Tender Experience

Capacity and experience in participating in government tenders — including technical bids, DPR preparation and compliance documentation — is a significant advantage. We support partners with tender specifications and proposal preparation.

Local Presence and Network

Partners should have an established presence in their operating area with access to local contractors, site preparation capability and relationships with municipal bodies and local authorities.

Your Role as an IPToilet® Partner

Our partners are integral to how IPToilet® units reach, get installed and continue operating in the field. Partners handle the critical last mile — from site preparation to ongoing maintenance and local authority liaison.

Site Identification and Preparation Identifying suitable locations, coordinating civil work, and ensuring the platform, water, sewage and electrical connections are ready before unit delivery. A level platform and utility connections must be confirmed before dispatch to avoid installation delays.
Installation and Commissioning Coordinating the delivery, crane placement and commissioning of IPToilet® units at the project site. Units are factory-built and factory-tested — site work is limited to positioning and utility connection.
Operations and Daily Management Managing daily cleaning, caretaker supervision, consumables, water and electricity payments and day-to-day toilet operations. Partners can offer these services to clients under separate operational agreements.
Service and Maintenance Providing trained on-site maintenance including periodic inspection, battery checks, sensor calibration, component replacement and preventive maintenance. Service personnel are expected to attend breakdowns within 24 hours.
AMC Management Delivering Annual Maintenance Contracts to clients, covering maintenance, troubleshooting and component servicing. AMC terms and pricing are structured in coordination with Altersoft.
Liaison with Local Bodies Managing relationships with municipal corporations, gram panchayats, highway authorities and other local bodies. Partners are the primary point of contact for clients and local authorities in their region.
Business Development and Tender Participation Identifying opportunities, registering leads with Altersoft, preparing bids and participating in government procurement processes. Partners receive tender exclusivity for leads they have formally registered in advance.
Last-Mile Client Service Handling client interaction, addressing operational queries and maintaining the relationship with the facility owner or operator over the full life of the installation.

How to Become an Authorised Partner

The onboarding process is straightforward. We sign an MOU and Partner Agreement, complete training together, and establish the terms for your operating region.

The Onboarding Process

  • Initial discussion and assessment of mutual fit — region, capacity and project pipeline
  • Signing of MOU and Partner Agreement, including IP protection terms and co-branding guidelines
  • Technical training for service and maintenance, conducted by Altersoft's team
  • Issuance of OEM authorisation letter and access to marketing and documentation resources
  • Registration of initial project leads and tender opportunities with Altersoft for exclusivity
  • First procurement and installation, with full technical support from the Altersoft team
Note on service coverage: To maintain a local service partner in a specific area, a minimum of 5 IPToilet® units within a 5–10 km radius is required, with a dedicated caretaker available on site. This ensures that local service is economically viable and reliable for the client.
